Port Manager - Planning

Planned Ship Traffic

It is possible to manage planned ship traffic for each harbor individually by creating a Planned Arrival Card for each expected arrival.

Planned Ship Arrival Record

This record includes the same information as a regular ship arrival, with additional fields for Planned Arrival (date/time) and Planned Departure (date/time).

When the record is created, its initial status is Planned. Once the registration is complete, the plan is confirmed by clicking the Confirm Plan button, which generates the corresponding planned ship arrival lines.

When a ship’s arrival is confirmed, the actual Arrival Date and Arrival Time are entered, and the Confirm Planned Arrival button is clicked. This changes the status of the planning record to Arrived, and at the same time, a Ship Arrival Card is created. The Arrival No. field is then populated with the number of the actual arrival record, linking the planned arrival to the actual one.

The Planned Ship Arrivals List provides an overview of all planned arrivals that have been created and are currently in the status Planned or Arrived.
